How to use it

Type your 7 letters, plus any letters on the board you want to play through.
Use ? for a blank tile. A blank can be any letter but is worth 0 points.
Under More options, choose a word length or letters the word must start or end with.
Tap a word length in the results to jump to it; common words are shown in bold.

These are different from Scrabble, where for example L, N and U are worth 1 point and J is worth 8. Switch Letter values to Scrabble under the form if you play the other game.

Is it cheating?

That depends on who you play with. Many players use a word finder only to learn after a game which words they missed, or to settle an argument about a word. Playing against friends, it is fair to agree on the rules first.

The points shown are the tile values only; bonus squares on the board add to them. Our list of 268,000 English words is close to, but not the same as, the one Words With Friends uses, so now and then a word may be accepted in one and not in the other.
