Wordle 2 is the next step after the classic game: the hidden word has six letters instead of five, but you still get only six tries. One extra letter means many more possible words, so every clue counts.

How to play Wordle 2

Enter a six-letter word and press Enter. Green tiles are letters in the right place, yellow tiles are in the word but in another place, grey tiles are not in the word. Keep going until the whole row turns green. In Unlimited mode a new word is ready as soon as you finish; the Daily word changes at midnight.

What changes with six letters

Six-letter words often hide common endings like -ING, -ER and -ED, or beginnings like RE- and UN-. Test them early: one guess such as RATING or FASTER can confirm three or four letters at once.
